Abstract: Passive Optical Networks PON are used in broadband access newlinenetworks to access information from a sender at Optical Line Terminal OLT newlineto a receiver at Optical Network Unit ONU in downstream and reverse in newlineupstream and these are found to be the critical bottlenecks in high speed newlinecommunications With faster PON architecture designs, the access network newlinecan enhance its capacity to support more users and higher data PON must be newlineable to provide high bandwidth or bit rate and low delay In addition they newlinemust be scalable to higher link rates and greater newline newline
