Abstract: In corporate world axis of growth is Information Technology (IT) sector. Companies rely on IT for fast newlinecommunications, data processing and market intelligence. IT plays an integral role in every industry, helping newlinecompanies improve business processes, achieve cost efficiencies, drive revenue growth and maintain a newlinecompetitive advantage in the market place. newlineThe aim and objective are as follows : newlineTo understand Cost Savings and Competitive Advantage newlineInformation Technology in Process Improvement newlineTo understand the effect of SAP implementation in the industry newlineTo understand software s various analytical features, such as evaluating performance, reporting and newlinedecision making. newline newlineH1-Employee for accepting ERP instead of legacy system. High cost to give training to all the employees newlineexplaining how the ERP system works and how they can use it. Firm adopting ERP exhibited efficiency gains newlinein some areas, but increased cost elsewhere seems to offset such gains. As a result, they did not give a clear newlineopinion whether ERP brings a greater firm or not . There is no relation between IT investment and financial newlineperformance which is often referred to as the productivity paradox. newlineH2-Empirical and theoretical study and the use of ERP will lead to lower information exchange cost by solving newlineproblems of fragmentation of information of data by keeping analysis of pre and post effect of an organization. newline newlineRelevant research has been designed in SAP-ERP reporting architecture which brings data information in one newlinesingle table itself. It will save time, speed up the system performance as there will be zero reconcillation effort. newline newlineInformation of data should be designed in single table instead of multiple tables. Single table design will lead an newlineoutput of faster reporting with accuracy and on the fly. The coding of system should be designed in such a way newlinethat it should avoid unwanted query while fetching data. Single table design is cost effective, capability of newlinemanaging heterogenous IT landscape improves the global growth. newline
