Abstract: Education is the process which starts from birth and continues till death. That education is considered as true and living, which helps an individual to make adjustment with his life and society. Education is considered to be the most effective instrument for developing the best in man and helps in reducing the discrimination among the humans. Education is the birth right of every individual. Every child, irrespective of caste, religion, creed or sex, has to receive education. In our country, more thrust is laid on equal opportunity of education, so that a person belonging to any class, creed and social status would have the chance of developing his potential. Right to Education Act (2009) stressed on free and compulsory elementary education to all children in the age group of 6-14. newlineEducation is purposefully designed process aiming at fostering the harmonious and healthy development of individuals as protective, successful and well adjusted persons in the society. It is the personality which makes one person different from the other. Personality is the organization of the internal and external activities. An important and often neglected facet of a learner is his personality. Personality of an individual is the stable set of characteristics and tendencies that determine his psychological behavior that have continuity and cannot be easily predicted. Personality is dynamic, which is continuously changing due to interaction with environment. Personality is an organized pattern of behavior that makes a person distinctive. It is one of the most difficult concepts in psychology. All of us use the term personality in our day-to-day conversation, but it would be difficult for us to present an accurate definition of personality.
