Abstract: Agricultural labour is one of the deprived classes in India. They are living very critical condition most of the agricultural labourers are living below poverty line. A numbers of studies in India have shown that almost in the country agricultural labourers are not getting the minimum wages. They could not get employment throw out the year. Besides agriculture they have no substitute of employment opportunities. Most of agricultural labourers are belonging to backward classes. Agricultural sector is the main source of their livelihood due to this during past several decades the numbers of agricultural labour have been continuously increasing. Especially women laborers are growing faster than male labor. Agricultural labourers are assigning crucial role in agricultural development, their efficiency also important for economic development therefore it is important to focus on this issue. newline
