Abstract: The service industry forms the backbone of social and economic development of newlinea country. It has emerged as the largest and fastest-growing sectors in the world newlineeconomy making higher contributions to the global output and employment. India newlineis distinctive for the rapid growth of its service sector high-tech information newlinetechnology, communications and business services in particular. India s service newlinesector has grown rapidly since the 1990s. Domestic demand for services has newlineincreased as incomes have risen, triggering the expansion of industries such as newlinebanking, education, and telecommunications. India s service exports have newlinecontributed significantly to the country s economic growth, and the growth of newlineservice industries has been a driving force for poverty reduction. In 2012-13, the newlineservice sector has contributed to 56.5% of country s GDP. newline
